In 2025, we partnered with Shiftworks Community + Public Arts for Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s University Bus Line. Working with Shiftworks and artist Marsha Rollinger, the new University Bus Line will have public art at each of the bus stations on this route, transforming a waiting area to an opportunity for creative inspiration and engagement to passengers.
Celebrated 50 Years of Public Theater
At the beginning of 2025, Pittsburgh Public Theater (PPT) got in touch with us to design a commemorative public artwork celebrating 50 years of productions. Working closely with PPT’s staff and board members, we went through the theater’s archive which included photographs of performances and letters from actors and crewmembers throughout the decades. The end result was a vinyl timeline that went throughout the theater, plus a wall featuring letters from past performers congratulating PPT on 50 years.
We also completed two vinyl murals in the conference rooms at PPT. Artist Sean Morrissey created a four-part wall mural using elements from the physical theaters that have housed PPT, and Alecia Dawn Young created a wraparound mural that weaves data visualization of the city of Pittsburgh’s Appalachian Mountain region with the theater’s seasonal production runs.

We curated the floor room at Workscape for International Women’s Day and celebrated with fellow women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. TASC created a collection featuring local women-identified artists, transforming their furniture showroom into a gallery space with purchasable artworks. We also invited artist Sophia Marie Pappas, who we worked with for the mural at the Skinny Building, to do live portraits during the event.

Won the Pirates Go To Bat Grant
We won a Pirates Going to Bat for Small Business grant and were highlighted for the month of August! Check out our coverage on WPXI’s Our Region’s Business with Bill Flanagan below.
Attended Franklin Mini-Con
We were in our first trade show! TASC had a booth at Franklin Mini-Con, an architecture and interior design conference hosted in Bakery Square. Check out our display, which featured works by artists from consulting projects we’ve completed.
Started Alecia and Naomi’s Project
We’re working with local artists Alecia Dawn Young and Naomi Chambers on a piece of public art that celebrates the history and legacy of the Hill District neighborhood in Pittsburgh. After gaining feedback and stories from members of the Hill District community, we’re currently working closely with the artists for site planning and design implementation. We look forward to unveiling the finished work in 2026!
Pitt Eatery
Our project at the Pitt Eatery highlighted two artists for the University of Pittsburgh’s new dining area: Alchemic Prints, a proud Pitt alum, and Edward Kerr. Our artwork selections were integral to creating a vibrant and engaging space for the Eatery's patrons, aligning with its purpose as a resource and hub within the larger university community. Working alongside the University of Pittsburgh’s internal team and external consultants from Design Agency, an international design studio, the end result is a dynamic and engaging area that promotes a welcoming and energizing atmosphere.
