Artists

The Art Supply Co. aims to help build and sustain a thriving local arts economy, so we prioritize working with artists from the Pittsburgh region.

Are you an artist interested in showing us your work? We’d love to see it.

To submit your artwork, please fill out the form below. We accept rolling artwork submissions at any point and review submissions twice a year. We’ll reach out if we’re interested in your work!

FAQ:

  • Yes! Sign up for our mailing list or follow us on social media to see when we put out a call for something specific. We also post our opportunities on the blog.

  • We don’t represent any artists. You’re free to sell your work to whomever you like, whenever you like! We pull from our lists and networks for each project that we do to try to find the right fit.

  • All kinds. Our art curating is dependent upon the project. We most often place art that hangs on walls, but we’ve also sold sculptural objects, artist-designed furniture and lighting, video pieces, and more. So send us your stuff!

  • If you’re creating work that needs a frame, it’s best that you leave that to us. Our art curating process involves making a space feel cohesive, and part of that includes creating consistency with frames. So don’t worry about it!

  • For most of our art curating projects, we do not take any commission on sales. We might ask you to consider giving a discount to help us meet the project budget. But the whole payment goes straight to the artist.

  • We’ll reach out if we think your work will fit into a project we’re currently working on. So make sure your submission includes your contact information.

  • Yes, you can apply again. You can apply up to twice a year either in rolling submissions or during an open call. We’d like for you to apply each time with different images if possible.

Artists We’ve Worked With:

“Working with Casey Droege and The Art Supply Co. team has been a game changer for my work as an independent artist. Our work together created a sustainable path for a career as a professional public artist as my portfolio and experience grew exponentially as a result of our relationship. Casey became a mentor and daily problem solver. Her project management skills and vast network of contacts provided predictive insights from start to finish. I can't say enough about the efficiency, care, and joy surrounding Casey and The Art Supply Co.”

“TASC facilitated a purchase of two of my paintings for a corporate client. They took care of all the communicating and took great care of my artwork. It means a lot to have people like TASC working to get local artists into collections—and making sure they are paid for it.”

“It is an absolute pleasure working with the team of The Art Supply Company. I find them to be extremely professional, approachable, and well regarded. Thanks to TASC, my art has reached a much wider and diverse audience. I admire and appreciate their knowledge of the arts, and commitment to supporting the artist community.”

“The Art Supply Co. is a unique catalyst in this city. All kinds of spaces, from downtown windows to schools, businesses, and offices, have the potential to offer more by bringing art to the public. At the same time, artists need to make a living and find new audiences. When those two sides are brought together in the right ways, all kinds of new things can develop, and the benefits resonate all around. It’s been a rewarding process for me to be able to collaborate with The Art Supply Company as an artist and a working parent. They hold to their founding principles at every level, making the real-life needs of artists a daily objective. And the people I’ve interfaced with are artists themselves, with keen eyes, and skills in communicating about big ideas while managing complicated logistics. This can be very tricky at times, but they always bring joy to the process. ”

“Working with The Art Supply Co. has been a meaningful experience. I value their commitment in bridging the gap through connecting artists to major stakeholders, and providing real opportunities that enlarge the creative economy.”
