PROJECT PROFILE

Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh

The Art Supply Co. partnered with Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh to create public photo installations featuring images from their age-inclusive photo bank, highlighting older adults living full, vibrant lives and reflecting the diversity of the Pittsburgh region.

Selected photographs by Ishara Henry, Martha Rial, Larry Rippel, and Nate Smallwood were displayed in street-facing windows across three Pittsburgh-area neighborhoods: Sharpsburg, McKeesport, and Beechview.

Our team handled location negotiations, contracts with building owners, city permitting, and the production and installation of the artwork.

“[Working with The Art Supply Co.] was collaborative in the best way and structured in the best way. At first we weren’t sure what the structure would look like on our project but the timeline, structure, and goals set by TASC were realistic and helped us achieve our vision. Structure and accountability helped us figure out the bounds, goals, and framework of the project. TASC also helped us hone in on what was essential versus ‘nice to have’ but not critical. We are so pleased with the product and excited to show it off!”
